Unsecured Personal Loan Ensures Quicker Cash Release And Keeps You Out Of Risk

Monday, March 31st, 2008

By Grant Cliv You have the habit of keeping yourself out of risk always. Now when you are going to take a personal loan, you do not want to undertake any risk. Well, in this case you can go for an unsecured personal loan. An unsecured personal loan does not require collateral. Therefore, there is no risk involved in it. Collateral is offered to ensure the lender that he can recover his money, though the borrower fails. Thus, the lender rises above risk and it is shifted to the borrower. In case any emergency arises and he fails to pay off, then the collateral is lost. Since there is no collateral required for an unsecured personal loan, there is no risk of losing it. In addition to the risk free nature, unsecured personal loan has some other benefits to offer. The absence of collateral eliminates some of the time consuming paperwork. Ultimately, the process of the loan becomes rather simple and the borrower receives the cash quickly. Unsecured personal loan is a flexible loan and can be used for diverse personal needs. Home renovation, car purchasing, holidaying, debt consolidation are some of the important personal works that you can accomplish with this loan. However, it is not recommendable to use the loan for your daily personal expenditure. You can get approval for an unsecured personal loan even if your credit score is not impressive. However, to avail an unsecured personal loan with favourable terms it is advisable to shop around and make comparisons. If you go through the online lenders, your shopping will be easy and you can avail the loan in a quick, simple and hassle free manner. Resume Tips To Take You From SAHM to WAHM

Saturday, March 29th, 2008

By Kim Bauer When looking for a telecommuting position, it is very important to have your resume in tip-top shape. This is often the only thing that a potential employer has to base a hiring decision on since they most likely will not be interviewing you in person, your resume has to make that great first impression for you. When your resume comes across the fax line or is opened in an email, it needs to be presented as professionally as possible. Besides the obvious typos and misuse of words, your resume needs to behighly organized and make a great impression as quickly as it reaches your potential employershands. With some organizational skills and a little work your resume can be the one that stands out. Where should you start, I would suggest starting with a list of your skills. Most people would probably not start in that manner but I think that it gives you a more positive basis to work from. When I speak of skills, I don’t just mean how many words you type or that you can operate a hundred programs on your computer. Use skills from volunteering with every organization from the school PTO to your church. You might be surprised when you really stop and think of everything that you learned while being an officer in the PTO or organizing the volunteers for the Little League concession stand. All of these are skills can be effectively used when organizing your resume. Not only do they require leadership and organizational skills but an ability to work well with others. Now that you have your skills listed, you should be pretty proud of yourself. Sometimes making a list of your attributes is the hardest part. We should all know what year we graduated and when we finally got the nerve to resign from that dreaded 9-5 office position. Next, I would recommend making a list of all previous positions with your job title as well as a brief description. Make sure that you use some “key words” that will easily grab the attentionof the eyes scanning your resume. If you don’t have a solid work history , I would recommend a functional resume format. The functional format highlights your skills rather than the time line of your work history. Remember to see your resume as a marketing tool. On a billboard you only get a few key words to catch the attention of the traffic speeding by. Your resume needs to serve the same purpose. It needs to spark the interest of the potential employer so that they will want to know more about you and your assets. That is how you land the interview. Give Your Business a Short And Quick Marketing Blitz

Friday, March 28th, 2008

By Lee Lister Want to give your business a some new ideas and make concentrated effort to obtain new customers? Why not take on a student or more experienced person for a few months and have a marketing blitz? A marketing blitz is a short and concentrated campaign to get as many new people interested in your business as possible. You can do this in several ways but the recommended methods are: * Contact your existing customers and offer them upgrades, new products or just check up that they are currently happy with your company. * Cold call on a group of well researched potential customers you dont want to waste your blitz on un-researched people after all. * Mailing campaign to a group of potential and actual customers. Just remember that you student will not have much business experience, but hopefully will have bags of enthusiasm. If you aim for a more experienced person they will still have to take some time to get to know your business. Start by clearly setting out the targets of your marketing blitz and what you are aiming to achieve during this period so that they understand what they are there to do. I would suggest the following: * Explain to them what they will have to do to prepare for the blitz maybe getting the calling/mailing lists together or preparing the campaign literature. * Give them full details of what they are selling including demonstrating the product or service. In this way they can answer any questions that your potential customers may have. * Provide a calling script that details the kind of questions you want asked and the information that you wish to provide. * Provide details of your current customers as well as where to find potential customers. * Ensure that they understand the purpose of the calls to obtain an appointment/a potential sale/introducing your company etc. * Send out details to those that are interested in receiving more details from the company. * Making appointments and detailing sales completed. Lastly being constantly on the telephone, particularly if it is cold calling can be boring and a problem to keep motivated. Let your new staff have a break by varying their work load. Lastly, sometimes having a new person on the firm brings in some new ideas especially if that person is also studying business so ask for suggestions and if they are any good act on them. Importance of the Old Testament in Understanding Eschatology

Wednesday, March 26th, 2008

By William Bell, Jr. The reason many fail to understand the time of the last days, the second coming of Christ and the end of the world, is due to lack of knowledge and appreciation of the Old Testament scriptures. Those who follow the teachings of Christ and the message of the apostles should be well aware that the basis of all they taught was the Old Covenant. Jesus promised that he did not come to destroy the law but to fulfill. He also said, “For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.” See Matthew 5:17, 18. Thus, to put it in English terms, every dotting of the “i” and crossing of the “t” of the prophecies in the Old Testament had to be fulfilled before the law could pass. Jesus even promised that the Old Covenant would remain until “heaven and earth” (Judaism) passed away. See also (Matthew 34:35; Hebrews 12:26, 27; Hag. 2:6) Since God’s word had promised the end of heaven and earth in the Old Covenant (Haggai 2:6), the law could not pass until it was fulfilled. This is why the Lord said it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail. (Luke 16:17) Jesus promised that heaven and earth would pass at Jerusalems fall before his very own generation (the people living in his day) passed away. (Matthew 24:35) In fact, not only did he predict the end of heaven and earth, he also said all yet unfulfilled prophecies would be fulfilled at the Roman destruction of Israel in A.D. 70. When you see Jerusalem surrounded by armiesthese are the days of vengeance that all things written may be fulfilled. (Luke 21:20-22, 32) Jesus drew all of his teachings on eschatology and the endtime from the Old Covenant Scriptures. He showed the apostles that all things concerning him found their origin in the message of the Law of Moses, the Psalms and the Prophets, (Luke 24:44-47). Thus, there is no teaching of Christ from his suffering and death by crucifixion to the proclamation of the gospel and judgment which is not rooted and grounded in the message of the Old Covenant. Likewise the apostles saw themselves as living in the terminal generation of Judaism. Hence Paul wrote, The end of the ages have come upon us, 1 Corinthians 10:11), i.e. the first century disciples. John saw the world of Judaism passing away and in its last hour. (1 John 2:17, 18). Peter wrote that the message of the prophets were being fulfilled in his generation, (1 Peter 1:10-12) and that the end of all things had drawn near. (1 Peter 4:17). James echoes the refrain of the prophets announcing that the Lords Parousia (coming) had drawn near and the Judge was standing at the door. (James 5:7,8). Thus, there is no eschatology or endtime message of Scripture that is not rooted and grounded in the Old Covenant. When Paul was accused by unbelieving Jews of teaching a gospel contrary to the message found in the Law and the Prophets, he told Felix that the Jews could not prove their claim. He went on public record saying, Nor can they prove the things of which they now accuse me. But this I confess to you, that according to the Way which they call a sect, so I worship the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the Law and in the Prophets. I have hope in God which they themselves also accept, that there will be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and the unjust. (Acts 24:13-15). Hence, what Paul believed and taught concerning resurrection and judgment found its origin in the Old Covenant scriptures. Therefore, a last days, end of the world message which is not according to the message of the Old Covenant, is a message which Jesus nor the apostles preached or condoned, (Galatians 1:6-9). Until we are grounded in the message, meaning and chronological framework of the Old Covenant, the end time message will remain a mystery to the masses as evident from the confusion which exists among the futurists who see in every newsworthy disaster, an imminent end of our present world. Eschatology was not about ending our world, but about the end of the ancient Jewish world as prophesied in the Old Covenant. Copyright (c) 2007 by William Bell, Jr. All rights reserved. Kids Outdoor Furniture Helps Encourage Outdoor Play

Monday, March 24th, 2008

By Penelope Regula With all the emphasis on keeping children healthy and active it is important to have kids outdoor furniture in your yard to allow your busy kids to sit down and relax. More and more children are reported as spending the majority of their time inside, so enhancing your yard and making it very kid friendly with child sized outdoor furniture is a great idea. Often, as adults, when we think of outdoor furniture we think of lawn chairs, tables, and perhaps loungers. When considering kids outdoor furniture, you can be even more creative. Many companies sell kids clubhouses, Adirondack style chairs and picnic tables, as well as outdoor rockers and benches. Children have a hard time using adult sized outdoor furniture, mostly because the adult type of furniture is simply too big for smaller children. With a complete line of child sized items this problems is eliminated. Adirondack Kids Outdoor Furniture The Adirondack style of kids outdoor furniture is durable, sturdy, and easy to maintain. The furniture comes finished in a variety of stains and colors to best suit your yard and also your childrens favorite colors. New to the market this year is a pink Adirondack chair for young girls and a blue one for the boys. The benefit of the Adirondack furniture is that it is able to withstand both the rain and the heat of the sun. These items can also be brought inside and used in the house over the winter months or during unseasonable weather. Children can use their outdoor furniture to have picnics and other outings right in the house during the cold seasons. In addition to the Adirondack chairs and picnic tables, there are also benches available that are finished in colors similar to the other types of furniture. This means that you will be able to add to the set throughout the years, or as your family grows. Playhouses Playhouses are an excellent way to spark your childs imagination. Kids love being outside and using their imagination to decorate their clubhouse or playhouse. Be careful to purchase good quality kids outdoor furniture, especially if it will be outside in the elements all through the year. Many playhouses are made of wood, plastic, or a combination of both materials. As with all childrens toys and furniture it is important to make sure that it meets safety standards and that the playhouse is kept in good repair and free from any splinters, breaks or other safety concerns. Some playhouses even have a front porch, perfect for kids size Adirondack chairs and ottomans. If you would like a playhouse, but dont want to have to leave it up all the time, consider a play tent. These easy to set-up tents are usually theme based, with a star tent, a military headquarters tent, a castle tent, and even a train station tent. Children really enjoy being creative, so why not provide the outdoor furniture needed to really make their play fun. The tents are relatively inexpensive and easy to store, so it may be possible to have a whole village! School Bus Mishaps

Saturday, March 22nd, 2008

By Blur Loterina Buses are a fairly safe mode of transportation. However, they can be very dangerous if they are involved in an accident. Bus accidents often result in serious injuries and even death. Factors that contribute to these accidents are driver negligence, inadequate security, dangerous roadways, weather conditions, defective products and improper maintenance, among others. According to the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute, based on information from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, there are less than 300 fatal bus accidents in an average year. Of those, about 30% involve transit buses and 40% involve school buses. There may be variations from other sources but above figure paints a frightening picture of the dangers buses pose to the riding public. If you are injured in a bus accident you may be able to file a claim against the bus company to receive damages for the injury you have sustained. You may either be on board the bus while the mishap happened or you may be walking on the street or riding a car. Like trains and planes, buses are conveyances that are required to provide a higher level of safety for its occupants. They are liable for injuries that passengers may suffer. It is mandatory for them to have equipment in good condition and skilled drivers to ensure the safety of passengers. State policies may vary but in general, if a personal injury occurs because the carrier was not in compliance with safety regulations, the carrier may have total liability for personal injuries. Much like other accidents, it is imperative that you follow certain procedures to protect yourself from possible trouble. For one, seeking the assistance of a doctor is very important to determine your level of injury and if you might have sustained other debilitating injuries that might have long term effects. Gather pertinent information as much as you can regarding your accident like names and addresses as well as contact numbers. Do not divulge any information to anyone other law enforcement officials or a lawyer. Anything that you say might be used against you in a court of law. Also, do not sign anything without the assistance of an attorney. You might think that it is a smart thing to do but refrain from doing so. It is better to be safe than sorry. Hiring an attorney is highly recommended for situations like this as they can help you obtain what is due to you and save you from any legal and financial hassle. Homemade Batteries

Saturday, March 22nd, 2008

By Josh Riverside Homemade batteries are commonly made of common items found around the house. Almost any fluid or moist object containing sufficient ions (charged particles) can serve as the electrolyte for a cell. It is possible to generate small units of electricity from a lemon, potato or glass of soft drink by placing two electrodes into them. A clock by name ‘”two-potato clock” is commonly available in hobby and toy shops. It contains a pair of cells (each with a potato or lemon with two electrodes) wired in series to form a battery with adequate current to operate a digital clock. When acids are present in water, they produce ions that are the same as the charged particles in electric current. For example, lemon juice contains citric acid. The lemon battery is formed by inserting two metal electrodes (zinc as anode and copper as cathode) into the lemon juice without them touching each other. A potato battery works the same way as a lemon battery. Here, the electrolyte is phosphoric acid. Homemade batteries can also be built from other vegetables and fruits. Homemade cells of these types have no real practical use, as they generate extremely lower current than commercial batteries. Because of the need for frequent substitution of the fruit or vegetable, they are also inconvenient in most situations. However, the cost of homemade batteries is much lower than commercial batteries. Clorox bleach battery is a powerful type of homemade battery that can be made using Clorox mixture. It lasts only a week or less, since its electrodes rust very quickly. In the “tap water battery” two special metals (usually made of stainless steel) serve as electrodes it that can be used to light LED bulbs for many days or weeks. There is no need of charging this battery,. Just refuel it with tap water every 4 to 7 weeks. Who is Your Perfect Client

Monday, March 17th, 2008

By Alvah Parker When I started my coaching practice I believed that I could coach anyone. My marketing wasnt targeted. Taking a few clients that were wrong for me cured me of that. I began to define my perfect client and then started to notice flags that told me that someone didnt fit my definition. Have you ever had a premonition that someone wouldnt be a good client for you? Today the person I hired to paint my house dropped by to pick up his check. He asked me about a neighbor to whom he had given a quote. He said, She seems like a nice lady but something is telling me shell be a problem. He went on to say that she wanted a guarantee that the paint wouldnt peel. He said with all the plants around her house and her irrigation system he didnt feel comfortable doing that. Although he would like the work and was confident in his ability to do a great job for her, he decided to pass on the job. Bob has owned his own painting business for 25 years and really knows who his perfect customer” is. He sees warning signs that tell him when the work will cost him more than he will make. Large businesses often take all customers as long as they believe they have the ability to pay. They dont use a screening method. I remember thinking while I was at AT&T that some customers were more of a headache than they were worth. One customer I remember started her weekend early on Friday afternoon and came back to her office after lunch inebriated. In that condition everything annoyed her so she would start calling us for immediate service on her equipment or adjustments on her bill. She knew all the numbers to call (including the president of the company!). If she didnt get attention she called the persons boss. She sounded pretty normal on the phone so she was taken very seriously. She consistently drained resources. Do you get an inkling that a prospective client will be a problem? What are the warning signs? I know for example that people who believe they know everything and never make a mistake are not good clients for me. I listen for that when I talk to potential clients. Also if someone comes to me for a marriage issue, I know that is not my area of expertise. I could coach the person but because I dont work in this area much it takes me longer to get up to speed on it. Better to refer that client to someone else and to find the lawyers and other professionals that I have a specific business development program for and experience in coaching. It is more profitable for me and more satisfying for my clients. One exercise I do with my clients is to ask them to rate their current clients as A, B, C and D clients. They come up with their own criteria for A (the dream client), B (the dream client in training) C (the average client) and D (the client from hell). The goal is to find a way to have only A and B clients in their practice. Can you see that getting rid of C and D clients would give you extra time to work with the clients you enjoy? By doing this you arent wasting precious time trying to please someone who needs lots of special attention. Think too about the kind of referrals you will get from C and D clients. We attract people to us that are very much like us so C and D clients probably will refer C and D clients. If you want to have a thriving practice with clients you enjoy working with the first step is to get very clear about your perfect client. What makes him/her perfect and then what tells you that the prospect sitting in front of you or the one on the phone is that perfect client? Take Action 1. Read Attracting Perfect Customers by Stacey Hall and Jan Brogneiz 2. What are your criteria for A, B, C and D clients? 3. Classify your current and past clients as A, B, C and D clients. What did you learn from the exercise? 4. Can you create a script with several questions for your staff to use so that you dont have to talk to any potential client that is clearly not an A or B client? Do you have a list of other attorneys, doctors, painters etc that they can refer the C and D clients to?
