Used Air Compressors

Saturday, October 20th, 2007

By John Francis Used Air Compressors: The Best Places to Find a Great DealBuying a used air compressor is a lot like buying a used car. Air compressors can be as expensive as cars, and its tempting to try and get the best deal possible by buying a used machine. Unlike cars, though, the market for used air compressors is not as big. The technology for air compressors hasnt changed much in the last decade, and air compressors last between 10 and 30 years depending on quality. Business owners often invest in a new compressor and hang onto it until it completely dies, or they will lease or rent one, or more, from rental companies at a cheaper price. If you are looking to save money, however, and the thought of buying a used air compressor appeals to you, there are a variety of places that you can turn to for a deal. First, you can buy used air compressors directly from the manufacturer. Buying a piece of used equipment from the manufacturer is more reassuring because its more likely that the information that they provide you will be accurate. They, at least, are likely to know about their own products. Terms and conditions vary, but in some cases, purchases may come with different warranties or guarantees. Unfortunately, your purchases are limited to the specific brands the manufacturer produces, as well as the price of that specific brand. Your ability to compare prices is greatly reduced. Unless you are looking for an air compressor made by a specific manufacturer, this may not be your best source for a great deal. You can also buy used air compressors from companies that specialize in air compressors specifically. Some of these companies have been in business for years, are knowledgeable about the products they sell, and may even have maintenance guarantees and toll free numbers for assistance. These companies also provide more search options, so you can find used air compressors by a variety of manufacturers at a variety of prices. Finally, you can buy used air compressors either from auction sites on the Internet or from bargain companies that may specialize in a variety of different products. You can also buy from individual owners. These purchases often entail very few, if any, guarantees. In order to make a wise decision, you have to be self-educated about used air compressors and know exactly what youre looking for. While this route involves the most potential pitfalls, it is also a way to find the best deals. Assessing your needs and your knowledge about air compressors will help you decided which route is the best for you to take in purchasing a used air compressor. http://aircompressorsweb.com How to decide between the variety of Air Compressors available Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=John_Francis http://EzineArticles.com/?Used-Air-Compressors&id=196375 cheap phentermine 30mg phentermine hcl phentermine pharmacy online consultation sisters pharmacy phentermine

Dowsing Dowser Divining Radiesthesia - Using of Pendulum and Biotensor

Friday, October 19th, 2007

By Roger Moretto Dowsing - Divining is a word, that was coined in 1920 by the French abbot Bouly and it comes from the Latin word Radius (ray) and from the Greek word Aisthesis (sensation). The diviner is the person, who is able to sense, through a pendulum, biotensor or dowsing rod, the vibrations of impulses and the radiations emitted from things, people, animals, grounds, and so onIn ancient times the word Dowsing was used just for the search of springs of water or metals as gold. Then the man realised that the radiations were emitted, not only by water and metals, but also by each form of life. Then people realised that, this resonance between the inorganic material and the mind of man, could have been extensible to any field. Here the reason for choosing the word Divining as definition to indicate the study of the waves and vibrations, that are emitted from each element. THE DIVINING/DOWSING SO IS THE STUDY FOR THE SEARCH OF WAVES AND VIBRATIONS, THAT ARE EMITTED FROM EACH ELEMENT. As above-said, the main divining working tools, that the diviner can use for any search, are pendulums made of crystal, wood or metal, biotensor, and dowsing rods. They are used as help to detect the vibrations and radiations emitted from each element and person. We will see that the Divining has got a multiplicity of uses. The divining phenomena have in fact an explanation of a physical order: each thing, from the living people to the inorganic material, emits radiations, each one on different wavelengths. Then the diviner, through his divining faculties (They will be developed by divining graphics and also by some particular tactics as we are going to see in this distribution), is able to sense these wavelengths or natural radiations to find the presence of what he is looking for: illnesses inside a person, the medicine, therapy or the more suitable therapeutic approach for the care of an illness and for the holistic care, water, gold, disappeared things, any diagnosis on fields, cars, besides to devise active radionics forms for every vibrational use.So it is possible to do test and diagnosis on:physic problems for any subject, Any mechanical motor For any installation, To find missing things, person animals, Alimentary intolerance for people, animals, To test any therapies for any types of curative approach for person, plants, animals, Any geopatia inside an houses and ground, The search of water wells, petroleum, minerals, depth of the ground, Archaeological and Historical searches, How to arrange and to orient things and furniture inside houses, offices, for making the room healthy in a vibrational way, and so on, To test the healthy colours for whitewashing walls of houses, offices, and so on, To test which plants are more suitable for gardens, houses, offices, rooms in general, To test the better choice for any arguments, the talents and the professional address, of office, of house more suitable, the sport practice, spiritual discipline, To test and project the better geometric forms for building a healthy house… at the end everything which regards your concrete choices for the “present” in general, remembering always of the moral rules which have been expanded in this distribution without developing with the time a form of dependence, if you previously have obtained small results. The Radiesthesia could help you for a more harmonic life. Relationship Conflict: The 3 Cs of Resolving Conflict

Thursday, October 18th, 2007

By Jeff Herring “And they lived happily ever after……….” Yeah right. Perhaps I’m a little bit jaded, since I work all day with couples in conflict. On the other hand, conflict comes to even the healthiest of marriages. It’s just that we seem so unprepared for how to handle conflict. We know in our heads that “happily ever after” is true only in stories and fairly tales, yet in our hearts we long for it to be true. In the best of all possible worlds, we would be well prepared for handling conflict before we get married. My experience in my office tells me that is just not the case for most couples. Part of the reason for this is there is just so much in a marriage relationship that can cause conflict. I’ve written before about what’s called the Big Six, the six main areas of conflict in marriage. The Big Six are the areas of communication, money, sex, children, in-laws and religion. Perhaps we should call it the Big Seven, and add the all important issue of who gets to hold the TV remote control. No kidding, I’ve actually had couples fighting over this issue. I’ve even had them fighting over the age old issue of how to hang the toilet paper roll, over or under. When I suggested that when you consider what you will use the toilet paper for, it really doesn’t matter, it seemed to clear up the issue. Humor goes a long way in resolving conflict. Having said all that, let’s look at some specific ways to handle conflict in marriage. This is called the three C’s of conflict resolution and they stand for Compromise, Co-exist and Capitulation. Compromise “A compromise would surely help the situation.” - 10CC Compromise is clearly the optimal solution to conflict. The problem comes when couples approach conflict as a win-lose situation, which makes it very difficult to reach a compromise. It’s simply human nature to want to be right, and so we approach resolving conflict from a right or wrong perspective. What this typically leads to is one person usually getting their way or their needs met at the expense of the other person. While this may work for awhile, it eventually leads to bitterness and resentment. Compromise, on the other hand, becomes a win-win situation. A couple approaches conflict resolution from a team mate/partner perspective. There are basically three key ingredients to compromise; 1) each person gives a little, 2) each person gets as many needs met as possible, and 3) each person works for the good of the relationship, not their own desires. Capitulation “Let’s try it your way.” - An experienced and wise spouse I can hear it now. “But isn’t capitulation just giving in and being codependent with someone?” It can be, if done on a regular basis over time. Over the course of a marriage, or any long term relationship, for that matter, there are times when the best thing to do is try it the other persons way. The capitulating partner comes from a place that basically says, “Our relationship and our happiness is more important to me than this issue. Let’s try it your way.” That’s not codependency, it’s cooperation. Co-exist “There’s only you and me and we just disagree.” - Dave Mason There are times in marriage where each spouse feels strongly enough about their beliefs or position that they can not move or come to the other person’s side. There are certainly some issues in marriage where this could signal the end of the relationship. However, in many circumstances, couples can simply agree to disagree, and move on. They learn to “co-exist” on the issue in question. I know of many couples who have taken this route on various issues and continue to have very strong marriages. What can happen over time, after being given the room to each have their opinion, spouses are able to move into compromise. Even if couples remain in a co-existing position on an issue, they can still have a strong marriage. Conflict in marriage is inevitable. The successful handling of conflict involves a healthy and balanced mix of the skills of compromise, capitulation and co-existing. No matter how you hang the toilet paper. Don’t Just Cook Your Steaks, Grill Them On An Outdoor Grill

Wednesday, October 17th, 2007

By Gregg Hall How do you like the taste of outdoor grilling or even the smell of steaks cooking on an outdoor grill? Grilling is not new, in fact, it is one of the popular methods of cooking. Not to mention the fun which grilling brings, especially if you are having a family or friends gathering in your backyard or for a football game. Grilling is also one of the favorite outdoor cooking activities of people all over the planet. There is nothing like the smell of a good steak on an outdoor grill. If you have not learned how to cook on a grill yourself, but have tasted the great taste of a grilled steak, why not giving it a try? Eating the food that you have created yourself is worth everything. Grilling isn’t just a long time way of cooking food in the U.S., but also a way for you to set up and get friends and family together in your backyard to enjoy the beauty that summer has to offer. Most people up north take advantage of the warmer weather to grill steaks for a party. Whether you grill ribs, steaks, chicken, hamburgers, hotdogs, or other meats they will be eagerly shared by everybody. It is very important to use the right equipment, tools, and ingredients to have the best result for your grilled steaks. Since marinade plays a big role in enjoying your grilled steak recipe, it should be chosen carefully to appeal to the taste of a variety of people. I am of French and Native American descent, my family comes from the Cajun people of Louisiana who are known for their hot, spicy food so I have to be careful here not to make my marinades and seasonings too spicy. For first timers to grilling, it may seem a little tough at first, but it’s a price worth paying for the fun of grilling your own food. Before you start, just do a little research on grilling on the internet. You will be able to pick up some good tips, recipes and even buy equipment if you want. If your first grilling experience is not what you expected or you burned the food a little, that’s normal, don’t worry about it. Just grill for yourself at first, then when you invite everyone over you will surprise them with how good you are at grilling. With a little practice, not only will you prefer your own grilling to that of restaurants that you have gone to, but so will your friends. Gregg Hall is an author living in Navarre Florida. An Introduction To No Fax Payday Loans

Tuesday, October 16th, 2007

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Ross_Bainbridge]Ross Bainbridge Once one applies for a payday loan by filling in the application form, what one normally has to do is to fax in ones documents. If one has his or her own fax machine then it will be no problem, but most of the time one has to find a fax machine. Another problem that is bound to happen while sending a fax is that the printout becomes too blurred. Sometimes such problems discourage one from faxing in these documents. This problem has been fixed by the introduction of no-fax payday loans. The distinctiveness of a no-fax payday loan is that one can obtain a loan without documentation. However, the amount that one is able to borrow is smaller. The amount that one can borrow will be from $50 to $800, approximately. The aim of such loans is to tide one over between paydays. Since no documentation is needed for approval of this loan, the process moves faster. The agency that provides the loan can immediately sanction the loan after going through the application. This fast approval is probably the reason why more people go in for no-fax payday loans. One needs to be 18 years of age, have a bank account that is active, and have a direct debit facility. The repayment of the loan is through a postdated check. The borrower will make sure that he pays back the loan when his next salary comes in, because the interest rate is high for no-fax payday loans. No-fax payday loans are also known as paperless payday loans. A no-fax payday loan normally is approved in an hour. There are some occasions when this is delayed due to errors in the application. When such an error occurs the computer will reject the application. This will obviously delay the process. So it is best that one double-checks the inputs before submitting his or her application. When applying for a no-fax payday loan, do some homework to find which agency provides the best service and rates. Make sure that the agencies have good customer support. Self-Employment-Managing Your Money: Tips for Living with a Fluctuating Cash Flow (Part Two)

Sunday, October 14th, 2007

By Ellen Zucker Continued from Part One: Self-Employment-Managing your Money … The way you manage your money is one of the first things you’ll change when you move from employment to self-employment. You are moving from an environment where you received income in equal amounts at set intervals to one where your income fluctuates. Managing money in such circumstances is both unfamiliar and uncomfortable for most of us. These are some tips I developed from my experience of 10+ years of self-employment. THOSE PESKY ESTIMATED TAXES Enter the land of self-employment and you enter the land of quarterly estimated taxes. You pay estimated income taxes because the Government says you must. Since you no longer have an employer to withhold income taxes, the tax authorities want to make sure that you pay up. One way to make sure you have money in-hand at the appointed time is to mimic what your employer used to do for you. Take a portion of money you receive and put it away. My solution is to put it into a separate savings account. By keeping the money separate, you are less tempted to spend it. Then at tax, time, simply transfer it into your checking account and write the check. It is less painful this way. Having a method to manage tax payments is most important around April 15 when annual taxes from the previous year and first quarter estimates for the new year come due on the same day. GETTING PAID Banks charge interest when they lend money. Very small businesses and self-employed people generally dont. And if they do, they rarely collect. It is hard to lay down the law to slow-pay clients much larger than you and clients who give you a lot of business. In fact some businesses make it a policy to pay their creditors slowly. They use your money, interest free, at your expense. Slow-pay and no-pay clients cost you money and mess up your cash flow. The subject of collections is worthy of a separate article or book, in itself. But here are a couple of pointers. Ask to be paid up front when possible. Its done all of the time. Contractors get deposits and lawyers get retainers. One piece of conventional wisdom is to have a policy to handle late payments. Set up a system to diary your outstanding invoices. Then follow up at scheduled intervals as needed. Keep a paper trail in case you have to take things further. Stay on top of overdue billings and keep lines of communication open with the client. The longer a debt remains outstanding, the less likely youll get paid. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. Be squeaky. CREDIT CARDS Credit card debt can be a killer. Calling the interest rate levels charged on many cards usury is not an overstatement. If you have credit card debt, pay it off as quickly as possible. Nonetheless, credit cards are a necessity in this day and age. When you are on the right side of the credit card companies, credit cards can be a benefit. You can track expenses by putting it on your card. That can be a real help when you have a lot of petty tax deductible expenses that add up over the course of a year. If you use your card for this purpose, be sure you pay off your balance every month. BUILD A FINANCIAL CUSHION For self-employed people, having a financial cushion is essential. It is a lifesaver when unexpected expenses come up, or expected income is slow to materialize. In addition, you may want to sock away funds for expected large expenses such as estimated tax payments. If you cant swing it in the beginning, build your cushion gradually. Put away money when times are good. Live lightly when times are not. Youll find managing your money while being self-employed will get easier over time. You will get to know your cash flow patterns and adjust accordingly. As your business grows it will bring in more money, which itself, does a lot to make you more comfortable. Ellen Zucker has been successfully self-employed for over 10 years. Can Or Should Your Marriage Be Saved?

Friday, October 12th, 2007

By Udo Vieth If you have been married for any length of time, you understand that not everything always works out as smoothly as your undying love initially indicated. There are often bumps in the road to marital bliss, even in the best relationships. This is a normal growth and learning process and if handled with love and care actually further cements the marriage. But what if you just can’t take it anymore. It’s over, you’ve had enough. Let me outta here. I was better off alone. Is your marriage really doomed? You had better spend a little time evaluating the reality of your situation. Often, if not nearly always, the whole problem is one of miscommunication. I’m sure you’ve heard that before, however, I am talking about miscommunication with yourself. What? Yes Yourself. How have you communicated the reality to yourself. You see initially, you saw everything through rose colored spectacles. You fell in love, and that’s why you got married. Your partner could do nothing wrong everything was cute, precious, special, no matter how strange it might have seemed to other people. Now, when some of your expectations aren’t being met, theses same spectacles have turned a dark shade of black. Everything is stupid, uncaring, silly, negligent etc. the same actions that were cute, are now stupid. Again it is a matter of perception. What makes the issue worse, is that the same thing has happened to your mate. Where as before, all was rose colored from both sides, a condition which reinforced itself by the mutual agreement, this has now worked exactly the same way in the opposite direction, pushing you further apart. Both are looking for the negatives in each other, both will find them. The positives have been discarded as average, the negatives raised to a higher, more important level. This can only lead to a break to stop the feelings of disappointment. If this is the case, so be it, but……and this is a huge but, what if your perception was not quite as accurate as you thought. What, heaven forbid, you might actually be mistaken. I know this is an absurd notion to consider at this point, but just for the sake of argument, what if you just worked with that new perception for a while. Could, would this make a difference? I daresay yes. This is where counseling comes in. A skilled counselor, will try to establish a sense of reality back into the relationship and level the playing field. Only when you can both see clearly again, should a decision for the future be made. If at all possible, a separation should be avoided. Here’s why. The costs of a divorce are huge. I am not merely talking monetary terms here either. The actual ramifications of divorce are a topic for another time though. For now, to be fair to everyone, especially yourself, you owe it to the relationship to get into a clear thinking state of mind, before making any potentially life altering decisions. Remember, there was a reason you got together. Can this be resurrected, modified to adapt to changing conditions? Could the love be rekindled? Can the Marriage be saved. Try whatever you are able to not become another statistic. Udo has a website dedicated to RelationshipSecrets. Check it out for the latest on how to make yourRelationship Sizzle. Horseback Riding Camps Offer Fun, Exercise, Experience

Thursday, October 11th, 2007

By Samantha Kay Is your child or teen horse crazy? Many children and teens are fascinated with horses and horseback riding. Attending a horseback riding camp will give them a basic knowledge of horses and riding as well as an interesting summer camp destination. While the focus of horseback riding camps is, obviously, riding horses, these camps also teach other important factors of horse ownership and care. During their camp time, campers will learn about the different types of tack used to ride or drive a horse. Camp attendees will also learn how to clean and care for tack. Also offered at horse riding camps are sessions on proper horse care. During these sessions, campers will be taught how to feed, water and groom a horse. Some camps ever offer classes in equine anatomy, perfect for children who think they may want to become a veterinarian. When choosing a horseback riding camp, you must first decide which style of riding your child wants to learn. The main riding styles are western and English. Western riding is generally associated with cowboys, ranches, and rodeos. Popular western riding activities include trail riding and barrel racing. Western saddles were designed with the comfort and security of the rider in mind, so it has a higher seat back (cantle) and front (pommel) so riders feel secure while on the horse. English riding, on the other hand, generally focuses on jumping, racing and horsemanship. This style of riding requires the horse and rider both to have more freedom of movement, so these saddles don’t provide as much support and security as does a Western style saddle. If your child is a first time rider, they might want to consider a Western riding camp. Horseback riding camps generally offer lessons for experienced riders as well as those who have never been on a horse before. Experienced riders will generally be placed in a class they will find challenging while beginning riders will begin by learning the basics of how to properly mount and sit on a horse. Riders with little riding experience are paired with an older, gentler animal while those with more experience ride the younger more spirited animals. In addition to riding lessons, some horseback riding camps also offer classes in driving miniature horses. In these classes students learn to control the horse as they ride in a small cart pulled by the animal. Another popular horseback activity is vaulting. Simply put, vaulting is gymnastics on horseback. For this sport, horses with large, flat backs are lunged, or driven, in a circle while students perform gymnastic tricks on their backs. Although this sport may sound dangerous and difficult, students generally find it is easier than it sounds. For horse lovers, horseback riding camp can be a great way to spend at least part of the summer. In the course of these camps, campers can learn the basics of riding or improve their riding skills. They will also learn important horse care issues such as horse health and anatomy. These riding camps can be a great source of fun and experience with horses. Media Addiction Quiz for Teens: Do TV, Video Games and Computers Run Your Life?

Tuesday, October 9th, 2007

By Katherine Westphal Welcome to “The Media Generation” Teens are spending so much time watching TV and playing with their computer and video games that the Kaiser Family Foundation has dubbed this generation “The Media Generation.” The recent study found that children aged 8-18 were watching TV, playing video games, on their computers, and listening to music for a total of 6 hours and 23 minutes EVERY DAY! Many kids were doing two or more activities at once. Most of this time is still spent watching TV. Kids spent almost four hours every day watching TV. Collecting Autographs Can be Fun

Sunday, October 7th, 2007

By Jennifer Maskill As I browse EBay, it is quite sad to see how many signed items there are for sale on there these days. Most of them if you look closer arent even real. They are either copied printouts of the real thing or are just out and out fakes. To me, this takes all the fun out of collecting. To me collecting autographs isnt about monetary value, it is about personal and sentimental value. I started collecting 23 years ago. I was watching Blue Peter and I wondered to myself if it would be possible to get signed pictures of the team. So I wrote my letter and popped it in the post, then a couple of weeks later my SAE came back packed with pictures and lots of other bits and pieces. From then I was hooked. I wrote off to all my favourite TV shows and quickly filled up 1, 2 even 3 photo albums. To make TTM (Through the mail) collecting the most fun, you should only write to stars you like and admire. Here are a few tips for getting the most out of your hobby. 1) Keep your letter short. If your handwriting isnt the best then it is perfectly acceptable to type it out but always sign your name in person at the end. 2) Always send an SAE (Stamped Addressed envelope) this saves the celeb time in replying to you as they can just sign your picture, seal it up and send it away. 3) Try to send your own picture so that the item will be unique to you and also you will know that the subject has taken the time to sit down and sign it especially for you and not just thrown a ready done one in there. 4) Dont take liberties. I think it is OK to ask for a couple of photos to be signed but not a whole wad of them. 5) Dont tell your life story in your letter, just a paragraph about what you like best about the person you are writing to will do. 6) Dont forget to keep track of the dates that you sent your letters. This will give you an idea of how long it had taken to reply. Dont worry if it takes a few months, the more popular the Celebrity, the longer it will take. Just be patient. There are lots of resources online for finding addresses for celebs. Some sites have a subscription to join but if you look hard enough you will find many addresses for free. Most of the time you can write to stars through the TV Company that they are working for but there are lots of resources out there for Agents and managers addresses. Also for Sports stars you can write to them through their sports club. You will find that most big sports clubs/TV companies/Agents are geared up for receiving fan mail and have a procedure for dealing with it.
